This Privacy Policy explains how Bornali Soft ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Bornali Pharma mobile application (the "App"). The App is a pharmacy inventory, billing, and accounting management tool intended for use by pharmacies, businesses, and their authorized staff.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

Bornali Pharma is a business-to-business (B2B) application. Accounts are created and managed by a business owner or administrator. Users of the App are typically the business owner and their authorized employees. The business itself is the owner (data controller) of the operational data entered into the App; Bornali Soft acts as the service provider (data processor) that hosts and delivers the software.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account & Authentication Data

• Login credentials (username and password) used to sign in.
• User profile details such as name, role/permissions, and associated company/branch.
• Session tokens and authentication headers used to keep you signed in.

2.2 Business & Operational Data You Enter

The App stores the business records you create and manage, which may include:

• Inventory and product data (items, generics, batches, expiry dates, stock levels, prices, barcodes).
• Sales, purchases, sales orders, returns, and invoice records.
• Customer and supplier information (names, contact details, addresses, balances).
• Employee records and accounting data (chart of accounts, vouchers, ledgers, balances).
• Company logos and product images you upload.

2.3 Device Permissions & Related Data

Permission	Why it is used
Camera	To scan product barcodes and to capture logo/item images.
Photos / Media / Storage	To let you select and upload company logos and product images from your device.
Bluetooth (connect / scan)	To discover and connect to Bluetooth receipt/label printers for printing invoices and labels.
Location (approximate/precise)	Required by the Android operating system to enable Bluetooth device scanning. The App does not use your location for tracking, advertising, or profiling, and does not store your geographic location.
Microphone	Used only where an in-app feature explicitly requires audio input; audio is not recorded or stored in the background.
Internet / Network	To securely communicate with our servers to sync and store your business data.

2.4 Technical & Diagnostic Data

• Basic device and app information (app version, operating system) used for compatibility and troubleshooting.
• Error and diagnostic logs that help us fix crashes and improve reliability.

The App does not collect data for advertising, does not sell your personal information, and does not include third-party advertising networks.

3. How We Use Information

• To authenticate users and provide access to your business account.
• To operate core features: inventory, billing, accounting, reporting, and printing.
• To securely store and synchronize your business data across sessions and devices.
• To maintain security, prevent fraud or unauthorized access, and enforce permissions.
• To diagnose problems, improve performance, and support you when you request help.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. How Information Is Stored & Protected

Your business data is transmitted to and stored on our secure backend servers (https://pharmacy.bornalisoft.com). We use industry-standard measures to protect data, including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit.
• Authentication and role-based access controls that restrict data to authorized users.
• Server-side access restrictions and routine safeguards against unauthorized access.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We may share information only in these limited cases:

• Service providers: Trusted infrastructure and hosting providers that operate our servers on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
• Within your organization: Data is accessible to other authorized users of the same business account according to their assigned permissions.
• Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or valid governmental request.
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. Some records may be retained longer where required for legal, tax, accounting, or legitimate business purposes. You may request deletion as described below.

7. Your Rights & Choices

• Access, review, and update the business data you enter directly within the App.
• Revoke device permissions (camera, photos, Bluetooth, location, microphone) at any time through your device settings; some features may then stop working.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
• Request that your account be deactivated or removed.

8. Account & Data Deletion

To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, contact us at the email address below. Because accounts are managed by a business administrator, deletion of shared business records may require confirmation from the account owner. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal retention requirements.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is a business tool and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

10. International Users

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located in jurisdictions that may have data-protection laws different from those in your country. By using the App, you consent to such processing.

11. Changes to This Policy
